Peddler’s Village in Bucks County, PA offers small town, colonial charm just one hour from Center City Philadelphia. Founded in 1962, Peddler’s Village attracts 1.6 million visitors every year to its 42-acres of landscaped grounds and winding brick walkways.

Explore 65 independently owned and operated specialty shops, six restaurants, a 71-room inn, family-friendly attractions, and exciting annual events.

Lifelong Bucks County resident Earl Jamison founded Peddler’s Village in June 1962. The 18th century style specialty shopping village was inspired by Jamison’s travels to the unique town of Carmel, California in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Peddler’s Village opened with just 14 shops and the Cock ‘N Bull Restaurant, run by Jamison in the early years.

For more than 50 years, visitors have explored the best of Bucks county shopping, experienced exceptional dining at six unique restaurants and enjoyed family fun at Giggleberry Fair Family Entertainment Center, featuring the largest indoor obstacle course and a restored 1922 carousel. Folks have also escaped from every day to a getaway in the Golden Plough Inn’s 70 rooms and celebrated favorite traditions at a dozen seasonal festivals and annual events.

Guests can celebrate a variety of annual festivals like Strawberry Festival in the spring, Bluegrass & Blueberries and Peach Festival & Sidewalk Sale in the summer, Scarecrow and Apple Festivals in the fall, and the Grand Illumination holiday lighting in the winter.
