Lifelong Bucks County resident Earl Jamison founded Peddler’s Village in June 1962. The 18th century style specialty shopping village was inspired by Jamison’s travels to the unique town of Carmel, California in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Peddler’s Village opened with just 14 shops and the Cock ‘N Bull Restaurant, run by Jamison in the early years.
For more than 50 years, visitors have explored the best of Bucks county shopping, experienced exceptional dining at six unique restaurants and enjoyed family fun at Giggleberry Fair Family Entertainment Center, featuring the largest indoor obstacle course and a restored 1922 carousel.
